WE ARE HOLDING A BIG COON CONTEST FEBRUARY 19TH IN CRESCENT OK
Where.....Clubhouse is located at 223 N. Grand in Crescent, Oklahoma
When..........Entry signup is from 3pm to 5 pm on 02/19/2011
Entry........Category Hounds - Entry - $35 per team for hounds (max of 5 hounds)
Category Trapper - Entry - $10 per trapper
Payback..........85% payback
Rules: 1.) Deadline for both trappers and hounds to be back at club house is 10 am on Sunday Feb. 20th no EXCEPTIONS. Check in will be open from 8 am to 10am Sunday NO COONS WILL BE CHECKED IN AFTER 10 AM SUNDAY!!!!
2.) All raccoons must be killed from between 5 pm and 8 am on the night of the event.
3.) No more than 5 dogs per hound team and only one trapper per trapper category.
4.) Raccoons will be measured, weighed and put in the entry book. The team with the longest raccoon from tip of nose to tip of tail from each category will be declared the 1st place winner. The heaviest raccoon from each category will be declared the 2nd place winner.
5.) All coons must be killed in Oklahoma; all participants must abide by Oklahoma Wildlife Regulations!
6.) Each team or trapper will hunt their own hunting area and must have permission to do so.
7.) Payback will be 1st 50% of the entry fees 2nd 35% of the entry fees for both categories.
8.) No road kill or frozen raccoons will be measured! No Exceptions!!
